Current Idn Char Collision Detection configuration

HELP Here you see the current configuration of the Char Collision Detection Trust Management Protocol

  • In the left column you ll find always the base char set. In the right column you ll find always the char set that contains your character analogies. Thus for characters in the left column you search the character collision in the right column. In the left column only one character can be selected. In the right column one or more characters can be marked.

  • Other char sets can be selected in the respective select boxes. You load the selected char sets by clicking on the button "Reload char sets ".

  • Characters for which char collision configurations exist are generally highlighted.

  • Please Note: All character sets are grouped in Unicode ranges. If some characters are not displayed correctly a font is missing on your system which supports the Unicode range of these characters. Basically those characters that are important for your communication should be supported by the installed fonts your system.

HELP The current configuration of the Idn Char Collision Detection Trust Management Protocol for selected char sets

  • The links (there are always both variants of links shown, the original IDN link and the Punicode link) give a demonstration of how "collision characters" are embedded in an URL. With IdnWebShield installed their purpose is to test the availability of the protection for a particular char collision configuration.

  • IdnWebShield provides a web based configuration portal which enables you to modify and personalize the IdnCCDTm Protocol and to test the IdnCCDTm capability of your Browser software.

  • PLEASE NOTE:  For making your Browser IdnCCDTm capable the IdnWebShield software has to be defined as http/https proxy in your Browser´s proxy settings. (If you use MyIdnWebShield proxy settings for your local Internet Explorer are managed automatically by the application)
